When platforms succeed, artists often don't know how to get in or who is making those decisions. With mxtter, we are decentralizing in 2022. Members of the DAO include all holders of mxtter auction pieces, as well as the artists featured on our platform.
For every collection, mxtter adds 4 art pieces from a collection to the DAO, and DAO members vote on new artists to buy artwork from using the DAO treasury via our Discord. These DAO members are assigned special Discord roles. The DAO treasury is made up of a 50% fee off of auction pieces.
The idea being, this fee comes from mxtter artists and their auction pieces to support new artists through the DAO. The DAO in turn is continuously supporting new artists.
DAO members become members of a collective that collectively contribute to the mxtter ecosystem and themselves can help on-board artists onto the mxtter platform.
